With our national newspaper backgrounds, we are often contacted by news editors and feature editors asking if we can help them out.
So we were privileged to spend a large part of the week speaking to survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire that saw at least 80 people die.
To say it was a humbling experience is an understatement.
We interviewed families who had lost everything in the June 14 fire and are still now waiting to be rehoused – but had been offered accommodation in high-rise blocks, or in other counties, miles away from their support network.
We hope they will one day be able to move on with their lives and that the ongoing public inquest brings about the answers they so deserve.
