We are delighted to be working with the Small Steps Project to help them gain some national coverage for the amazing work they do.
More than one hundred kind-soled A-Listers have given up their footwear for the charity’s latest Celebrity Shoe Auction.
Eminem, Rita Ora, Chris Martin, Katy Perry, Keira Knightly and Lewis Hamilton are among the celebrities to donate their shoes this year – that raises funds to help children living on rubbish dumps around the world.
And now fans will be able to follow in the footsteps of their favourite stars if they make the winning bid in the annual online auction that takes place between November 1 and November 11.
The Small Steps Project, founded by ex-journalist Amy Hanson nine years ago, works tirelessly on landfills in Cambodia and Romania to Nicaragua and Uganda, helping vulnerable children living with the consequences of our throw-away, single-use plastics culture. The charity supports them in taking small steps off rubbish dumps and into classrooms and safe spaces, helping over 10,000 people in under ten years – and aiming to double that in the next five.
This year, the project is backed by a record-breaking 110 A-listers, from Hollywood icons to sports stars, all putting their best foot forward to donate their footwear for the online fundraiser Small Steps Project Celebrity Shoe Auction – the largest in the world.
Here is some of the coverage we have secured for them so far – with more to come!
