Play It Again Sam

England kick off the eighth Rugby World Cup when they take on Fiji at Twickenham tonight.

Rugby league convert Burgess has been picked for England’s squad – despite launching his union career at Bath just 10 months ago.

After making a splash Down Under with Russell Crowe’s South Sydney Rabbitohs, he’s been doing the same since he came back home last year.

Although he’ll be on the bench for the opener tonight, he insists he’s not in the squad to simply make up the numbers.

We spoke to his close family and friends for a heart-warming feature in The Sun newspaper about his relationship with Hollywood star Crowe, his father and his amazing rugby life so far.

We wish Sam and England all the best of luck for the competition!
